RAKES redesigns it's Model RW landscape rake
Originally designed especially for use with mid-range 20-35
horsepower, three-point hitch utility tractors. The redesigned
Model RW is now compatible with ALL category 1 Quick Hitches.
The redesigned frame also features an integral frame standard to
make using the Quick Hitch feature easier and more efficient.

shows the new frame. You can see the frame stand just to the
right of the scarifier rod. You can also see where the quick
hitch hooks the frame just below where the top link of the
three-point hitch would go.

Built with the
tradition of YORK RAKES quality in mind, the Model RW features
rugged welded steel construction and a 6, 7 or 8' maximum
working widths. The rake can be drawn straight across for
leveling and spreading soil, or angled to the left or right to
discharge excess material in a windrow. The unit is designed for
attachment to tractors with a standard category "1" 3-point
hitch, as well as ALL category 1 Quick Hitches.
Three important optional attachments provide the rake with broad
flexibility in handling a wide variety of soil-working and
landscaping operations. The adjustable caster wheels permit
precise control of working depth for the rake teeth. A 5-foot
wide scarifier rips up hard-packed earth, and a rugged flip-down
grader blade allows larger amounts of material to be moved or
leveled. When not in use, both the scarifier and the grader
blade flip up and lock securely in carrying position.
The Model RW and a mid-range tractor provide a versatile and
practical combination for handling a broad range of
applications. It is an ideal tool for use by parks maintenance
departments, resorts and recreation areas, beaches, golf
courses, cemeteries, schools, hospitals, apartment complexes,
housing developments, industrial parks, commercial buildings,
seeding and landscaping contractors, nurseries, estates... and
for homeowners with extensive acreage to maintain.
